Application of CSAMT Method in Prospecting of Southern Ore Belt of  Zhaishang Gold Fields,Gansu Province

Abstract:

CSAMT method is an artificial source frequency domain sounding method developed on the basis of MT and AMT,It has the characteristics of strong anti-interference capacity,small topographic effects,high resolution,large probing depth and strong penetrating,and is widely used in mineral exploration.The orebody is located at the core of anticline and the attitude of veins is instability.The laid of drilling holes has great difficulty.In order to find out the distribution and extension of ore veins,CSAMT were used for prospecting,three high-resistivity bodies and three low-resistivity zones were detected.The known No.31,32 and 41 veins located between the high-resistivity body parts and the low-resistivity zone.According to the measure result of CSAMT, we laid ZK43-1 drilling hole.It proves integrated methods having synergic effect and worth spreading.
