Design and Implementation of Virtual Mine Roaming System Based on Surpac and Unreal Engine#br#

Abstract:

Based on Google’s Daydream virtual reality platform,a virtual mine roaming system is provided.It shows the possibility of applying virtual reality technology in mining design.The primary process of the work:Firstly,acquire three-dimensional coordinate and attribute data of mine’s topography and geology,and use Surpac software to design surface mine;secondly,establish a three-dimensional model of the surface mine,and transform it into unreal engine 4 and make some necessary optimization;finally,achieve the virtual interaction based on C++ language,and use VR head display base on android to roaming in the virtual mine.The system is very advance in mining design and result showing.However,the system is based on mobile virtual reality platform,which is not good enough now,such as high delay rate,low resolution,very easy to make dizziness,which are needed to be improved.
