Analysis on the Geological Characteristics and Prospecting of Baishitan Gold Deposit in Beishan,Gansu Province

Abstract:

Baishitan gold deposit is located in Yingmaotuo area of Gansu Province.It is a gold deposit found in recent years and it is lied in the sandstone of Luoyachushan Group,and controlled by EW trending fault.Through analysis of the geological characteristics,mineralization occurrence position and ore-controlling factors,the prospecting marks of the area are identified.We briefly summary about geological background and geological characteristics,the ore genesis and prospecting are discussed.The deposit belongs to a tectonic altered rock type gold deposit,and the deep-surrounding area of the mine have good prospecting potential.The finding of the deposit has an important instruction significance and practical significance to detect the similar deposits.
