Analysis of the Genetic Types and Prospect of Laodonggou Gold Deposit in Inner Mongolia

Abstract:

The genetic types of Laodonggou gold deposit have been controversial for a long time in Ejin Banner， Inner Mongolia，and there are two main points of contention，endogenous deposit and exogenous deposit.Through the analysis of the previous data and field and underground tunnel survey，this paper discusses the geological features，ore-controlling factors and genetic types of Laodonggou gold deposit.We consider that Laodonggou gold deposit belongs to the endogenetic hydrothermal alteration type gold deposit.It should not be called an oxidizing-leaching type gold deposit.It is suggested that there are large potentials to find new gold ore bodies in the deep.
