The lattice ball mill is a common equipment in concentrator of gold mine,and the grinding operation is the highest energy-consumption section of the whole concentrator.In order to reduce the energy consumption of the ball mill,aiming at the problem of high energy consumption of the ball mill caused by the low filling rate of the ball mill and the unreasonable size of the ball steel ball,the ball mill in the concentrator of Jinchiling gold mine was studied by using the accurate filling technology. According to the mechanical properties of the ore,the initial ball loading scheme was accurately calculated by using the semi-theoretical formula of Duan’s ball size,and on the basis of this,a accurate ball replenishment scheme was proposed.The results of industrial experi-ments show that the output of the ball mill is increased by 2.6 t/h,the grinding fineness is increased by 11.90%,the power consumption and ball consumption are decreased by 2.17 kW·h/t and 0.21 kg/t,respectively. Therefore,it can be seen that the precise filling ball technology can effectively reduce the energy consumption of the lattice ball mill in large gold mine,and it has good promotion value.
